Welcome to Windwhistle Farm
Windwhistle Farm is a family owned business established in 1970 by
David Dunlop and currently run by his daughter Biffy and her
husband James Booth. We are based in Lisbane, between Comber
and Killinchy on the Ards Peninsula in County Down, Northern
Ireland.
Windwhistle Farm is a mixed farm with vegetables, cereals and a
beef herd. Its core business is built around growing, preparing and
packing soup vegetables and selling to both retail and wholesale
customers including Tescos, Sainsbury’s, Henderson Group, North
Down Group and the Co-Op.
We have recently started to grow Kale and supply the North Down
Group with 3 types - green, red and cavolo nero also known as ‘black
kale’.
