Windwhistle Farm supply chopped soup vegetables under the Windwhistle Farm brand. Packs are available in standard and family packs. Each pack contains all the vegetable ingredients to make the perfect bowl of soup, leeks, parsley, carrots & celery.
The main crops grown at Windwhistle Farm are leeks, parsley and celery as well as savoys, kale and scallions. Other test crops are also periodically grown. Our soup celery is our secret ingredient. Windwhistle Farm supply whole soup vegetables under the Windwhistle Farm brand. Whole vegetables are available only during the winter months.
Recipe Suggestion Vegetable Soup 1 x 350g pack of soup vegetables 60g(2oz) mix of lentils,peas and barley or dried soup mix. 1.5L (2.5 pints) vegetable or chicken stock. Method Pour stock into saucepan with lentils, peas and barley, bring to boil and simmer for 45 mins. Carefully add vegetables and simmer further until vegetables are tender. Season to taste.
